THE DELF-DALF EXAMS

The DELF and DALF are official French language proficiency qualifications administered and awarded by the French Ministry of Education, and are available at 6 different levels. The DELF French test is for beginners and intermediate learners, and the DALF is for those who have more advanced knowledge. The exams assess four skills: listening, reading, speaking, and writing. There are many benefits to passing the exams and gaining a certificate. Indeed, the certificates give you:

• an official statement of your French level, valid for life and recognised internationally, including for French nationality applications;
• proof of how much your French has improved;
• career advancement and an official qualification for your CV;
• recognized proof of level for studies at a French university or institute of higher education.

The Alliance Française in Manchester is offering the following DELF/DALF exams to candidates for 2021. Registration must be completed before 11th November 2021:

Does Friendly Fun French offer DELF/DALF exam preparation courses?

From the 4th of March 2021, we will be offering exam preparation weekly classes for DELF B2 level. The exam is on the 14th of December 2021. The classes will be every Thursday 6-7pm on ZOOM. Each class will be £7 (and only £5 if you take other lessons at Friendly Fun French). Those classes will be taught by our experienced teacher Esther.

If you wish to prepare for another level, you can book a private lesson. The private lessons on zoom are £25 an hour. In that case you can choose how many hours a week you would like to do. If you would like to take private lessons in person, go to this page.

All our courses use materials similar to the exam formats.

We will also offer a VIRTUAL BASELINE TEST FOR FREE before enrolling so you know where you’re at.
